The Pennsylvania State University is located in a small city called State College. You can reach State College through airplanes, buses, and personal vehicles.

Flights

You can fly into University Park Airport in State College (SCE) via Washington DC (United Airlines), Philadelphia (US Airways), and Detroit (Delta Airlines).

Once you arrive in the University Park Airport, you can call the Days Inn front desk at 814-238-8454 for free shuttle service. If you stay in a different hotel, you can contact the hotel for their shuttle service or call a cab in the luggage claim area using the cab companies’ courtesy phone. Some cab drivers sometimes wait for their customers at the luggage claim area. A major cab company in State College is Handy Delivery (814-353-6001). Cab fares are usually around 20 dollars for most destinations in State College.

Buses

You can also reach State College through Megabus or Greyhound services. Megabus provides direct services from and to New York City, Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh. If you reserve your Megabus tickets online early, you may board the bus at a very low rate.
